[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal

[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide emergency medical services and ambulance billing services.
- Clinical records including, but not limited to medical histories, physical examinations, diagnoses, treatments, medications and observations must be maintained in strict accordance with privacy rules and all other applicable regulatory standards
- The contractor will be responsible for all billing with the exception of some interventions provided by the advanced life support units and other special areas as determined on an ongoing basis by the city international airport emergency medical service division
- The contractor will be capable and required to assume billing with the intervention of advance life support units if requested by the city international airport during the contract period, including use of oxygen and oxygen associated supplies
- This includes and requires that the vendor currently possess the capability of Medicare Part-A billing and reporting
- The contractor shall, within seven working days of receipt of the billing information, mail an invoice to the patient’s insurance carrier when sufficient information is provided
- As required during the contract period by the city international airport emergency medical services division, the vendor will mail special letters to solicit further information from the patients when not enough information was previously acquired to submit a clean third-party claim
- The format for the invoice and instructions for payment shall be developed by the contractor and approved by the city international airport emergency medical services division
- The contractor will code from the call sheets using icd-9 and procedure codes or the current acceptable format of the carder billed and prevailing laws will be followed when coding for motor vehicle, personal injury claims and traditional Medicare and medicaid claims
- The contractor will maintain its systems on an ongoing basis to be capable of submitting clean acceptable claims for all third-party contractors insuring payment for the city international airport ems patients
(2) All question must be submitted no later than June 20, 2019.
(3) Contract period will be for three years.

Performance of the work will be offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
