[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal

[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide ambulance transport-billing collection from insurance carriers, financial reporting, analytical services, and ambulance billing services
- Billing: -
1. The Successful Proposer(s) will commence billing the patient care reports with the start-up date established by the Firm and County.
2. The Successful Proposer(s) shall maintain certified ambulance coders on staff.
3. The Successful Proposer(s) shall provide information on any collection efforts beyond mailing invoices that they may offer.
4. The Successful Proposer(s) shall indicate whether or not they will submit to the South Carolina set-off debt program.
5. The Successful Proposer(s) shall indicate whether or not they have the capabilities to report delinquencies to credit agencies if the County so desires and include any additional associated costs.
6. The Successful Proposer(s) shall indicate their procedures for managing data that is incomplete or contains inaccurate information such as a wrong patient address, DOB, SSN and etc.
- Collections: -
1. The Successful Proposer(s) shall process all claims according to timelines agreed upon between the County and the Successful Proposer(s). The claims shall be divided into multiple revenue categories: Medicare, Medicaid, Primary Insurance, Secondary Insurance, Auto Insurance,
Worker’s Compensation and Private Pay.
2. The Successful Proposer(s) shall also propose available options to be used for delinquent account collections.
3. Claims shall be appropriately re-categorized after receiving payment from the primary guarantor.
4. All denials shall be processed according to the timeline defined by the Successful Proposer(s) and the County.
5. Customer service will be provided using a toll-free phone number.
6. Successful Proposer(s) shall provide Customer Service hours on the Financial Proposal Form.
7. The telephone systems utilized by the Successful Proposer(s) must be able to accept voice mail messages and route incoming calls to the appropriate persons.
(2) All question must be submitted no later than March 11, 2020.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
