[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide third party administration services for workers compensation claims of claim management including the information systems platform.
- Adjusters must have a demonstrated ability to effectively manage the claims in a timely and efficient fashion.
- Based on the loss data provided, please outline your recommendations for managed care services
- to medical severity reviews, when nurse case management will review the files, the assignment process for nurse case management
- accept an electronic transfer of data for existing claims including: payment and reserve transactions, claims activity notes and claims data.
- integrity of this data must be assured during the transfer process, and the ability to report historical valuations must be preserved.
- allow the client to establish an employee database from existing payroll or HR record
- allow supplemental question customization
- allow for cause of loss code customization
- allow the use of an independent provider for claims intake
- transcribe all recorded statements upon notice of litigation
- utilize a reserve software program for the establishment of reserves
- allow for authorization by client prior to assignment of nurse case management
- utilize a medical disability group for measurement of lost time days on workers’ compensation claims
- produce a separate report to reflect the status of recoveries separate from going into each claim file
- track legal expenses by month, year-to-date and by firm
- allow to monitor critical claims via alerts.
(2) A non-mandatory pre-bid virtual meeting will be held on November 10, 2020.
(3) All questions must be submitted no later than November 17, 2020.
