Vendor needs to provide administration services of promotional assessment process for the rank of Sergeant to the government authority located in Palm Beach, FL.
• Review the department’s job task analysis
• Select and create competency-based structured behavioral interview questions and applicable response standards for assessment center activities to include an in-basket, two scenario-based exercises, and an oral interview.
• Meet with staff of the town of palm beach police department to review and select relevant questions and response standards based on the job task analysis and job descriptions for the rank of sergeant
• Finalize response standards for each exercise
• Finalize selected questions applicable to the interview process
• Conduct a ½ hour candidate orientation session
• Conduct 2-4 hours of assessor and rater training. the raters will be trained to assess the exercise they are assigned to
• Provide training to any actors used in the scenario-based exercises
• Administer the assessment process over a 1-2-day period
• Facilitate the assessor and rater team meeting consensus process
• Prepare final score reports, converting to a 100-point scale
• Provide a one-hour candidate feedback session (at the same time) to all candidates
• Conduct adverse impact analysis
• Provide documentation as to validity and reliability of the process and if necessary, be prepared to testify as to the validity and reliability of the process in legal proceedings.
