[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals

[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide third party Medicaid billing provider services
- Assist with data entry for claims
- Monthly support in the process of tracking parental consents for billing.
- Monthly support in the process of identifying students becoming eligible after the start of each school year.
- Assist with calculating Direct Medical Services Individualized Education Program (IEP) Ratio to include:
- Total Number of Medicaid Students with requiring direct medical services and
- Total Number of Students with requiring direct medical services for the Cost Report as requested
- Monitor and track Occupational Therapy (OT) and Physical Therapy (PT) referrals for compliance.
- Maintain full support in the event of any internal or external audit, including conducting practice audits, providing documentation of processed claims and writing necessary reports
- Provide ongoing review of district SHARS program and advice to maximize documentation of provided Medicaid services and related billing, including specialized Transportation sessions and claiming
- Full customer service available during regular CENTRAL TIME (CT) business hours of 8 am- 5pm Monday through Friday. This may include via email, live chat, and phone calls (either direct or through the use of a telephonic relay / interpreter service for TSBVI staff members communicating including American Sign Language)
- Possess an internal systemic capacity of validating all requirements for billing to include—but not limited to:
- Parental consent to bill
- Existence of a current Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) that authorizes the frequency and duration of school health and related services
- Verification of licensure and certifications for all service providers
- Verification of prescription for services provided to students
- Medicaid eligibility at different times of the year
- Proper documentation
- Provide full support in managing the Random Moment Time Study (RMTS), including but not limited to: quarterly Participant List review and certification; monitoring and reporting any employees who have not completed the Random Moment Time Study requirement.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than June 14, 2022.
