[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide services to assist in the prevention, analysis, mitigation, defense, and
resolution of construction claims or disputes and to assist in the analysis of critical path method to the government authority located in Connecticut.
- Investigation, analysis, and determination of claim costs;
- Review and analysis of construction schedules and disputes;
- Preparation of technical documents;
- Review, analysis, and recommendations related to contract language and dispute resolution processes;
- Claim and dispute prevention and mitigation support;
- Technical support related to litigation, alternate dispute resolution, informal negotiation and claim resolution;
- Design error analysis and resolution support;
- Drafting technical letters and recommendations relating to disputes and claims;
- Serving as an expert witness in litigation;
- Assisting in legal defense for litigation and alternate dispute resolution;
- Providing recommendations and support for construction’s specification section and the standard specification committee;
- Training;
- Related tasks required by the central construction office.
(2) The contract period will be for five years.
