[B] Scope of Service:

Vendor needs to provide emergency ambulance transportation and billing services.
- An Advanced Life Support (ALS) Service is defined as a District paramedic accompanying the patient in the Provider’s ambulance to the medical facility and providing the appropriate level of medical care to the patient during transport.
- An ALS Service also include those transports without a District paramedic accompanying the patient(s) in the Provider ambulance to the medical facility, where a medically necessary ALS assessment (as defined in current Medicare regulations) was performed on the patient(s) by a District paramedic prior to being transported.
- Monthly, the District bills the Providers for each ALS Service rendered at an interim rate (i.e., ALS Billing Rate) until final collections have been determined.
- Specific knowledge in Commercial Insurance, Self-Pay, Medicare/Medic-Cal, and other payor categories.

[C] Eligibility:

- Onshore (USA Organization Only);

[D] Work Performance:

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
