[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide police and fire injured on duty claims administration services injured on duty claims administration.
- The service provider will assist in the representation of the city in administrative or legal proceedings relating to injured on duty claims.  
- Based on the service provider’s recommendation and the city subsequent decision, the service provider shall move forward with applicable claims handling procedures through and to a finalization or resolution of the claim(s) involved.
- Documented support shall be provided through all phases of the injured-on duty claims management process.  Collective bargaining on labor relations issues will be recognized and resolved where necessary.
- All claims management services shall be provided within appropriate time limitations. Medical bill review involving complex bills shall be completed within two weeks of receipt.
(2) The contract period will be for one years.
