[*] Scope of Service:

Vendor needs to provide dental plan administration services to provide third party administrative services for the state employee dental plan.
- Estimations of annual plan expenses and effects of contemplated changes in plan designs
- Various management reports on claim expenses including cost incurred at specific providers, types of plan expenditures and other reports which assist in analyzing and controlling claims
- Monthly reporting system detailing membership for active members, retirees, direct bill agencies, and COBRA participants
- Assist in reviewing and providing risk management mechanisms and data
- Assist in reviewing trends in the dental field and applying those trends to the State of Indiana plan.  Benchmarking to similar clients
- Able to provide timely and accurate response to inquiries and guarantee access within certain time limits
- Bill plan participants for bi-weekly premiums when on various approved leaves such as family medical leave, military leave, approved leave of absence, or workers’ compensation
- Ability to bill former employees and/or dependents that elect to continue coverage under COBRA
- Ability to direct bill each Senior Judge for the employee portion of the informational fees on a bi-weekly or monthly basis
- A tracking system capable of interfacing with the state’s eligibility file generated from PeopleSoft, which establishes and maintains eligibility lists for the dental plan.
