Vendor needs to provide Cobra and retiree administrative service.
- Agency is seeking COBRA administration services which include full management of activities required by COBRA and HIPAA legislation, including required notifications, premium remittance, premium reconciliation, branch and eligibility reporting to agency and appropriate plans.
- COBRA vendor is expected to receive electronic notice of new enrolees, qualifying events and terminations from agency human resources benefits department, sends out initial and subsequent notices and COBRA election forms directly to the participant, receives COBRA elections and transmits election information and initial and subsequent premiums to agency on a monthly basis.
