[*] Scope of Service:

Vendor needs to provide Medicaid collections services.
- Costs related to filing and processing said claims shall be paid by the selected vendor and shall be at no cost to parents and the District.
- The selected vendor shall provide a follow-up program of claims denied, including, but not limited to, standard claim denials and third party insurance denials. - The selected vendor shall provide the District, quarterly and at the end of each fiscal year, service history and written utilization reports for annual cost reporting and quarterly certification of funds processed. Reports shall include, but not be limited to, information by student, service provider and service type.
- The selected vendor shall serve as the billing agent for the school district, and shall file and process claims to Medicaid, for whom voluntary consent forms have been obtained, for reimbursement of health care and related services, provided by the District’s professionals, to eligible students within the jurisdiction of the District.
- The selected vendor shall develop and implement a training program, in cooperation with the District, for District personnel directly involved in the implementation of the services contemplated. The selected vendor shall agree to provide subsequent training to personnel, upon written request by the District, and continuous individual assistance to the District’s service providers.
- The district is using MyeShars web-based system
- CISD currently submits claims for all services allowable under the state plan.
- Medical services provided by the District are free for parents.
- There are approximately 4,260 Medicaid eligible students; this number changes monthly.
