[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide workers compensation program service.
1. Claims administration:
- The contractor shall receive, review, record and set reserves on all claims and loss notices received from the city and shall process all claims in accordance with applicable laws, rules and regulations. The contractor will be expected to investigate claims to determine compensability and to determine the correct amount of payment, if any and to evaluate injuries, disabilities and claims for settlement.
2. Risk management information system and reporting:
- The contractor shall collect, receive process and report losses which shall be organized to provide risk management information to the city. The types, frequency and distribution of such reports shall be agreed between the contractor and the city.
3. Actuarial study:
- The contractor shall perform or subcontract for the performance of actuarial services to include a review of the city’s self-funded internal service fund. The contractor shall make recommendations for levels of reserve fund necessary.
(2) All question must be submitted no later than June 22, 2023.
(3) A contract period will be for one year.
