[*] Scope of Service:

Vendor needs to provide school based medicaid claiming program service.
- The vendor must provide all required services necessary to secure maximum reimbursement to the city from the state school-based medicaid billing program, including direct services and administrative activities.
- The vendor must use the existing or future software system used by the public schools special education department to extract necessary data for claim processing.
- The vendor must utilize a provider tracking or data collections system that is compatible with Aspen technology, the district's current student data system and EasylEP the district's current special education data system.
- Identify and compile a comprehensive list of reimbursement-eligible services rendered to school children for which claims will be submitted.
- Support the school district in obtaining all necessary parental consent forms.
- Support administration and oversight for the state random moment time study process
- Perform quarterly medicaid matching process and calculate the applicable medicaid eligibility rates
- Perform quality assurance checks of all data.
- Support a Medicaid matching process to ensure that potential Medicaid matches are manually reviewed and included in the billing process when applicable.
