[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide workers compensation coverage services.
- Provide workers’ compensation insurance coverage to specific state agencies.
- Professional claims adjusting.
- Includes all managed care, prescription drug plan, utilization review, bill review, return to work, qualified rehabilitation professionals, other allocated and unallocated claim expenses including pharmacy benefit manager fees.
- The carrier will discuss their reserving philosophy and strategy with the agency.
- The carrier must have several claim reporting options available to the State such as telephone, electronic (email), online, electronic systems (web reports), fax, and paper reporting capabilities.
- Provide adequate staff to address loss reviews and services at our specified location upon our request.
- The carrier must be capable of receiving and processing electronic payments.
- Loss reporting will be on a monthly basis and by participating state agencies and locations and
must be provided in an electronic format that allows for data analysis and statistical trending
- Provide an effective loss control and risk management program to reduce potential losses by identifying workplace hazards
- Develop a strategy to address experience modification factor issues by incorporating an integrated approach with the goal of obtaining a credit experience mod for the state agencies workers’ compensation program.
- Provide payroll, class, premium, losses and loss reimbursement fund data as needed
- The carrier will perform an annual premium audit on all agencies in the program
- The carrier will report the statistical data and loss experience of this program to the required data reporting agencies.
- The carrier must make appropriate staff available to present at conferences, program meetings or any other requested state agency workers’ compensation function, meeting.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than November 28, 2023.
